This Is Us

Hi Everyone,

My name is Claire Moser and beside me is my husband David Moser. We got married 10-03-2021 and our life has been such a fun adventure. During the day I am a teacher and at night I work on Dutch Roots.

I (Claire) moved to America from The Netherlands in 2017 after finishing college in The Netherlands with a degree in Business Management and Equestrian. I then started school at Illinois Central College and got another degree in Early Childhood Education.

I have always loved to be creative. One day I got in contact with someone from Norway who did leather work herself. I thought that this was such a cool and creative skill to have so for that Christmas in 2019 I asked for a starter pack and took classes to get familiar with the craft. I instantly fell in love with it and wanted to continue this hobby and create it into something bigger, something that I could share with all of you. So we officially started Dutch Roots in spring 2020 and we have been growing ever since thanks to you all! 

Here at Dutch Roots we sell handcrafted leather goods. We offer journals, keychains, belts, bookmarks, coasters, and more.
